About Me

I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2016 from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, which is where I grew up for most of my life. That same year, I moved to Pullman to attend Washington State University for Veterinary School and fell completely in love with the Inland Northwest. Knowing that I wanted to settle down in this area, I moved to Spokane directly after graduating in 2020 and have been practicing small animal/companion animal medicine here for the past four years.

While raising an anxious dog with my husband for over thirteen years, we quickly realized the importance of providing the least stressful veterinary experiences throughout his life but unfortunately weren’t given the tools to do that. This ignited my passion for understanding each animal’s unique needs to help reduce their fear and anxiety around vet care as much a possible. In 2020, I became a Fear Free Certified Professional and have been using those behavioral skills ever since. After working in traditional clinics for the past few years, I believe in-home exams are an amazing way to create a more positive veterinary experience for so many of our pets. Additionally, I put an emphasis on compassionate client education in order to empower owners with the knowledge to make the most informed decisions they can for their beloved family members.
